We hold a considerable level of stock in our Warehouse with shipments arriving regularly. If we do not hold the desired item in stock we will happily order it for you. Delivery time is an estimate only and is usually 12-14 weeks for wooden products and 6-10 weeks for leather products and accessories from the date of order. This can vary considerably depending on the item ordered. URBO LIVING is not responsible for any supplier delays, however we will do our utmost to obtain the ordered item in the least possible time. We require a 25% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit on all orders placed.
URBO LIVING delivers only within the M25 with prices dependent on the postal code. Delivery within the M25 is free for orders over £1500.00. You must sign for the goods upon delivery. In doing this you are agreeing that you have received the goods in acceptable condition. Due to the unpredictability of traffic we are unable to adhere to specific delivery times. Your failure to accept delivery on the agreed time and date will incur an additional charge for redelivery. If you need to cancel or postpone a delivery you must give URBO LIVING at least 24 hours notice.
A lot of our furniture is rather large. It is your responsibility to ensure the furniture measurements are compatible with your doorways, stairwells etc. before delivery. If an item does not fit due to your incorrect measurements and you wish to return it within 7 days, we will issue a full refund minus a 15% administrative & restocking charge (minimum £50).
For deliveries outside the M25 URBO LIVING will provide a quotation for an external courier/freighting company. URBO LIVING is not responsible for damage to furniture caused by external courier/freighting companies once it leaves our premises. Any items not delivered by URBO LIVING will be self-assembly where applicable.
We do not provide delivery through windows or external hoists. If you require such a delivery you may try Translution 020 8349 4844. This is a separate company and we make no claim or guarantee as to their service.
If you prefer to collect your furniture, you are welcome to pick it up from one of our stores so long as it can be carried by one person. Please let our staff know the date and time you will be collecting your goods. The staff in the shops will not be able to provide loading assistance. URBO LIVING will not accept liability for any damage that occurs once the goods have left our premises. Certain larger pieces can be collected but only from our Warehouse. Please confirm with our sales staff which items these are.
If an item is returned to us in a completely saleable condition with proof of purchase within 7 days, you will receive a full refund minus a 15% administration & re-stocking charge. We are unable to refund goods which have been damaged subsequent to purchase. This does not affect your statutory rights.
URBO LIVING reserve the right to withdraw sale offers without notice. Discounts on products cannot be used in conjunction with other pre-organised discounts e.g. trade discounts.
Any purchased or part purchased products not collected/delivered within 3 months will be put back up for sale. This will occur after URBO LIVING has attempted to contact the customer with the contact details provided. The customer will receive warning 1 week prior. No refund will be issued as administration charges will apply.
Imperfections and irregularities are natural characteristic of our handcrafted wooden pieces. We cannot offer you an exchange or refund based on varying characteristics of the wood. Credit notes and gift vouchers are valid for the period stated on them.
If you require us to store goods in our Warehouse, we can do so provided they are paid for in full. We will store the products free of charge for the first 14 days after which a storage fee will apply at £20.00/per item/per week for a maximum of 2 months.
Our products should be kept away from fluctuating temperature environments to prevent any unnecessary movement*. These include direct sunlight and other heating and extreme dry and damp environments. Regular dusting is very important to prevent dust drying the natural oils from the leather and wood. We recommend nourishing your furniture periodically with a specialised product which is available in store. You should always test an inconspicuous area first. Please ask our staff if you are uncertain of how to maintain the quality of your furniture.
Ownership of goods passes from URBO LIVING to the customer only after full and final payment has been received by URBO LIVING.
Our leather furniture meets current fire safety regulations. All leather furniture on display complies with domestic regulations only. If your requirements are for commercial use, such as bars or hotels, you will require a CRIB 5 certification.
